従位接続詞って？
従位接続詞は、メインの文（主節）にサブの文（従属節）をつなぎ、説明を加える役割を果たします。
接続詞によって作られる従属節は、名詞節または副詞節になります。

「時を表す」接続詞12選
when
「～の時に」「～の頃」という意味を表します。
When I was a child, I wanted to be a police officer in the future.
訳：子供の頃、将来は警察官になりたかった。
主節が未来の内容を指す時は、従属節が現在形になることに注意しましょう。
She’ll call you when she gets home.
訳：彼女は家に着いたら、あなたに電話するだろう。
while
「～の間」という意味を表します。
He studied hard while his mother was cooking for dinner.
訳：母親が夕食を作っている間、彼は一生懸命勉強をしていた。
as
「～するときに」「～しながら」という意味を表します。
As the leaves turns red, I feel like autumn.
訳：葉が色づいてくると、秋を感じる。
They went to university as they ran a company.
訳：彼らは会社を経営しながら大学に通っていた。
since
「～して以来」という意味を表します。
I’ve lived in Sidney since I moved there.
訳：シドニーに越して以来、ずっとここに住んでいる。
until（till）
「～するまでずっと」という意味を表します。
He stayed with me till I stopped crying.
訳：私が泣き止むまでずっと、彼は私のそばに居てくれた。
untilもtillも意味は同じですが、文頭に用いるときは until の方が好まれます。

before
「～する前に」という意味を表します。

after
「～した後で」という意味を表します。
After the war ended, people’s awareness of peace increased.

by the time
「～するまでに」という意味を表します。
By the time she arrives at the airport, I will be on plane for France.
訳：彼女が空港に着くころには、私はフランス行きの飛行機の中だろう。
every time
「～するたびに」という意味を表します。
Every time my mother praised me, my brother was jealous.
訳：母に褒められるたびに、弟に嫉妬されたものだ。
each time も同様の意味を表す言葉です。

next time
「次に～するとき」という意味を表します。

the moment
「～するとすぐに」という意味を表します。
The moment they arrived at the venue, the party started.
訳：彼らが会場に着くとすぐにパーティーが始まった。
the instant も同様の意味を表す言葉です。

as soon as
「～するとすぐに」という意味を表します。

「～する限り」という意味を表します。

though（although）
「～だけれども」という意味を表します。
